Absolute banger of a Korean restaurant. The food was exceptional and very well priced for what it is. Authentic, tastes excellent, consistent, and great portion size as well. The hostess is also very polite and passionate. This place has become an absolute comfort spot for us. Highly recommend!

Great Korean food restaurant! The main dishes: fire stone pot bibimbap , tofu pot and fried beef are tasty .only if added more rice of bibimbap would be good. All the side dishes are so delicious, especially the fried glass noodles “잡채” They made all the dishes so carefully. Recommend to everyone that searching for nice Korean food in eastern Seattle.

My first experience dining in with my family was terrific! The restaurant’s atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and family friendly. The staff were prompt and polite. I ordered the La Kalbi and Honey Garlic Chicken Wings, which were delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by for some great Korean food!

As someone who lived in LA’s K-town, I’ve struggled to find good Korean food since moving to Seattle. Most places are overpriced and just don’t compare. That changed when I found this place. I had the Gungjung Galbitang — the broth was amazing, but the real surprise was the meat. The quality and portion of beef were way beyond what I expected. Tender, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. It honestly reminded me of what I used to eat back in LA. We also ordered the Ugeoji Galbitang, which was just as good — rich and authentic in flavor. The restaurant itself was also really nice — clean, cozy, and welcoming. The kind of place you want to bring friends and family back to. If you’re missing real Korean food or just want something genuinely delicious, this is where you should go. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

I recently visited this restaurant with my 6-year-old, and we had a wonderful time. We tried the Ossam bulgogi and Charcoal pork kalbi, which came with an assortment of delicious side dishes as well. What made the experience even better was how thoughtful the staff was. They noticed my little one with me and kindly brought over crayons and a coloring sheet to keep her entertained. It was a nice touch that made our meal even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return to try more incredible dishes!

I took pics after finishing the meal. The portions are reasonable, ensuring you leave satisfied without feeling overwhelmed. Their rice is exceptionally well-prepared, perfectly complementing their flavorful dishes. The braised short ribs are rich and tender, the dumplings are crispy and well-seasoned, and the galbitang (beef short rib soup) is light yet deeply comforting. The banchan (side dishes) add a nice variety to the meal, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving quality Korean food!

Friend recommended this place, and it turned out really great! I think the best non-KBBQ Korean restaurant experience I've had, surprisingly. We went at opening time on a Sunday (another plus is that they're open on Sundays). The interior is nicely decorated and decently large. Complimentary appetizer salad and banchan arrived quickly after ordering, just be sure to warn the server if you have allergies. They served peanuts in the salad but they were really kind and brought an additional alternative appetizer over for our allergic friend. They serve purple rice with beans. And we ended up ordering so much food (the bossam, combo with pork bulgogi, cheesy tteokbokki, and seafood pancake) that we didn't try asking for seconds of any of the banchan, but they gave us two of everything anyways for our party of 4 so, pretty generous! They were good about coming by to check if we needed more tea (also complimentary! And really good barley tea), although they forgot us a bit when we needed the check after it started getting busy. Still, very friendly waitress as we paid (split check) and for Korean food that turned out plenty of leftovers, it was only 38 per person after tax and tip... That's a crazy steal, I don't know if the other reviewers just haven't tried other Korean restaurants? Maybe same thing applies to the complaints about service, if you're not used to "Asian manners", although honestly the service we got was impeccable even by American standards. Looking forward to visiting again with my parents next time!

Modoo Hansang feels like a much needed hidden gem for Korean food in the Bothell area. Their food is some of the best I’ve had in Washington. Meat portions are generous, tender, well seasoned and delicious. My husband and I have come multiple times and will continue coming back for a Korean comfort meal. Highly recommend their gungjung kalbitang with VERY generous meat portions and their chicken stew to share! Easily can feed 3-4 heads.
